Peter McGuire, considered the Father of the Labor Day holiday, said back in May 1882, “Let us have a festive day during which a parade through the streets of the city would permit public tribute to American Industry.” Well, there's nothing wrong with declaring the Sunday before Labor Day to be the day to pay tribute to stampin'!! ...

Queen Kat's Stamping Castle — It's Wednesday again? Oh brother! This long weekend has kicked my butt, lol. I have a fun Fall card to share today. I used the new 2 Step Tree and the Friends Forever stamp set. OO.. and the new Elegant Swirls stamp set. I'm in LOVE with that set! I used it on my Whimsical Ink card for today as well. I turned the sketch over and made a "Portrait" oriented card. For the tree, I stamped it in Chocolate Ink (CTMH) and then over stamped it in Palette New Canvas ink. I love that stuff!! It's an easy card to make and it will be just perfect for a friend of mine to let her know I'm thinking about her. :) Have some more fun and hop ...

Queen Kat Designs — Hello there, and welcome to another edition of Sundays are for Stampin'!! Wow was our Saturday ever full with family time!! By some miracle we were all up and awake at 7:30am, so we spent the whole day together, the latter part out running errands. Wow is it ever a blessing to strike up conversations with our kids!
